PSYCHIATRIC EVALUATION
A new patient consultation will include an assessment of your medical history, psychiatric history, current symptoms, goals, and treatment recommendations.
MEDICATION MANAGEMENT
We provide medication management for children, teens, and adults. We evaluate your long-term medications through regular follow-ups and refills.
Ethan Smitherman PMHNP-BC
Ethan is the founder and owner of Hernando Psychiatry. He is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Ethan served in the United States Marine Corp before pursuing nursing. He began his nursing career as a labor and delivery nurse in 2015. He went on to complete his Bachelor’s in Nursing at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and then his Master of Science in Nursing specializing in psychiatry/mental health at Frontier Nursing University. Ethan will be seeing patients of all ages from children to geriatric. He has a passion for helping people and hopes to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health. Ethan is married with three children and loves spending time outdoors.
